Completed HotsLogs forum signature HTML code does not work. What am I doing wrong?

This is the code HotsLogs provide:

<a href="https://www.hotslogs.com/Player/Profile?PlayerID=8683204"><img alt="HOTS Logs Player Profile" src="https://www.hotslogs.com/Images/PlayerProfileImage/8683204.jpeg" width="563" height="125" /></a>

however when inserted into forum signature, it doesn't show the picture, only the code, (as everyone can see below) what is wrong?

I am horrible what comes to coding, and tried to use the picture from url instead, but that didn't update the stats, so the HTML code is the only option i think.

If someone could help, that would be awesome.

Hey there @RokkDog.

I noticed nobody ever answered your question. I went ahead and got it working for you. So you know how to do it in the future when you go to edit your signature - at the bottom right you will see a button that says Insert other media, and if you click it you just select Insert image from URL. Then you just paste the image URL which in your case is https://www.hotslogs.com/Images/PlayerProfileImage/8683204.jpeg  based on the HTML code you provided.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and again I apologize nobody answered you sooner!

Edit: I don't believe you can just paste HTML and have it work in our forums, in fact I don't think it accepts HTML code at all.

Thank you @Roughknite. I also tried that, but the stats didn't update. So i thought it was just a plain image of the stats i had at that moment. Have to inspect the problem again. I let you know if there is problems still. Might have  just misclicked some things.

Ah yeah, you are right - the stats will not update. I got an idea... Time to summon some people...

Calling @Zero and @Trojan404 for further help to see if this is possible!

HTML in anything is restricted to certain people as it can be abused.
